Aluro has expanded the capabilities of the T-tester XL with digital integration with the Aluroller EVO. Every shear test result is now automatically linked to the right job, order and profile, removing the last piece of paper from quality control of thermal break profiles.
From paper test forms to connected data
In many plants, shear tests are still recorded manually: on paper or in a separate spreadsheet, and matched to the right order afterwards. That takes time, and it creates the risk of a result ending up with the wrong production run. With the new integration, the system knows from the start which profile needs to be tested, and where the result belongs.
How it works
- It starts with the job. When entering a job, you flag which profile is to be shear-tested. You can do this from your ERP, Aluro Cloud, or directly on the machine’s HMI. This eliminates potentially missed shear tests, and the operator can focus on the job instead of counting profiles.
- Default rules to match your standards. No need to set up every job individually. A default rule automatically flags profile X or N in every job, in line with your company’s own quality requirements.
- Test on the T-tester XL. After the test, the results are sent back to the Aluroller EVO automatically and linked to the right job, order and profile.
- On to your ERP or Aluro Cloud. From the machine, test results are passed on via API to your ERP system or to Aluro Cloud, depending on what you use.

What’s in it for you?
- Paperless recording of every shear test
- Full traceability per job, order and profile
- No transcription errors: results are passed on automatically
- Audit-ready quality data for your Factory Production Control (FPC)
- Flexible integration with your ERP system or Aluro Cloud
